The Story of Veron Kum

Veron Zam Kum is a 20-year-old Bahá’í studying Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Buea in Cameroon. His passion for the Bahá’í Faith and enthusiasm for promoting its activities motivated him to undertake a year of service as a Homefront pioneer in the Limbe Camp neighborhood in Limbe after completing high school. During this year of service, Veron conducted daily home visits, inviting families and friends to engage in core activities. He collaborated with ten families whose children actively participated in various neighborhood initiatives.

With a strong commitment to serving the Bahá’í community, Veron enhanced his capacity for service by studying the Ruhi course sequence and attending meetings and seminars. Currently, he is serving as a Homefront pioneer in the Sandpit neighborhood in Buea, where he is involved in a variety of core activities for the Bahá’í Faith. He leads an ongoing study circle and a junior youth group consisting of nine participants.

Veron is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, hoping to contribute to the construction of a better world. A scholarship would greatly assist him in realizing his aspirations and dreams
